What is the Low-Temperature Waste Incinerator Process?
Low-temperature waste incinerators use controlled conditions at lower temperatures than traditional incinerators, typically relying on a catalytic process or pyrolysis to break down waste into less hazardous substances or useful byproducts, such as oils or gases.
China Fireprint systems can operate at temperatures below 200°C, significantly reducing the formation of harmful emissions such as dioxins and furans, and typically produce a much smaller proportion of inert ash relative to the original waste volume.
They are sometimes referred to as low-temperature pyrolysis (LTP) systems or catalytic incinerators and are suitable for specific types of waste, particularly polymeric waste.

How it works:
Pyrolysis:
Pollutants are slowly charred. Charcoal pyrolysis promotes their oxidation at lower temperatures than standard thermal treatment (flameless combustion).
Pyrolysis outputs:
Waste is heated in an anaerobic (oxygen-free) environment, breaking it down into its various components, including liquid oils, gases, and a carbon residue.
Key Features:
Reduced Emissions:
The primary benefit is a significant reduction in the production of dioxins and furans, potent environmental pollutants produced at high temperatures. Energy Efficiency:
Some systems, such as the Fireprint low-temperature incinerator, require no external energy input and operate solely on the waste itself.
Reduce Residue Volume:
The process significantly reduces the volume and mass of waste, typically producing an inert ash containing only a fraction of the input material.
Product Recovery:
In some processes, useful products can be recovered, such as diesel-like oil from plastic pyrolysis.
Applications:
Polymer Waste:
These systems are particularly effective at breaking down plastics and other complex polymer wastes.
Specific Pollutant Removal:
Low-temperature processes can be designed to remove specific pollutants, such as dioxins from fly ash.
