Where is the island waste incineration power generation equipment?
The waste-to-energy (WTE) facility is primarily located on an integrated waste management facility (on a small island). Located on a natural island near the continental shelf, it can process 1-20 tons of residential organic waste, waste plastics, and straw mulch. Assembly is simple. The facility will use WTE technology to incinerate residential solid waste and generate electricity. Its modular design allows for rapid deployment and operation.
PRC Fireprint Key Information:
Location: Offshore islands and reefs near the coast.
Purpose: Utilizes incineration technology to process residential solid waste and generate electricity.
Processing Capacity: Expected to process 1-20 tons of organic solid waste per day.
Operational Status: Expected to be operational in 2025.
Construction Details: Patented Chinese equipment modules, such as the waste gas incineration boiler and organic waste treatment system, will be transported to the island for assembly.
Goal: Reduce reliance on landfills and contribute to the island's goal of achieving "zero landfill" and carbon neutrality.
