Incinerators
An incinerator is a furnace that uses high temperatures to burn waste, reducing its volume and converting it into gas and ash. Modern incinerators are often equipped with air pollution control devices that filter the gases before they are discharged through the chimney. Incinerators are used to process a variety of waste types, including domestic, industrial, and medical waste. Some incinerators also generate energy during the combustion process.

How it works
Combustion chamber: Waste is fed into the combustion chamber and heated to extremely high temperatures (typically over 1,800°F).

Discharge: The cleaned gas is discharged into the atmosphere through a tall chimney, which helps dilute and disperse the gas. Ash removal: The remaining material, or bottom ash, is collected and disposed of.
