Introduction to Circulating Fluidized Bed Incinerator

The circulating fluidized bed incinerator is centered on fluidized combustion technology, realizes uniform heat transfer relying on inert media such as quartz sand, and forms a boiling fluidized state of inert particles and crushed waste through high-pressure and large-air-volume blast at the furnace bottom to achieve rapid and full combustion of waste. The lower part of the furnace has excellent high temperature resistance, and a stable fluidized combustion bed layer can be formed with heat-carrying inert particles.
 
The equipment has strict requirements on incoming waste, which needs to be crushed to a particle size below 50mm in advance to ensure fluidization uniformity and avoid incomplete combustion caused by large-particle waste deposition at the furnace bottom. Its core advantages are extremely high combustion efficiency with an unburned material removal rate of only 1%; there are no mechanical moving parts in the furnace, so the equipment has strong wear resistance and durability and longer service life.
 
The technical shortcomings are prominent: strict restrictions on feeding particle size lead to cumbersome pretreatment procedures; it relies on high-pressure and large-air-volume air supply, resulting in extremely high power consumption and large ash output, which greatly increases the operating load of the rear flue gas purification system; the equipment has complex operation logic and high requirements for parameter regulation accuracy, requiring professional technicians for operation and maintenance with high labor and technical costs.
